🌳 A huge thank you to the Cégep André-Laurendeau group for their recent visit to our sister field station in Belize @treesocietybelize ! 🌳

Your team worked tirelessly on a variety of volunteer projects, and we sincerely appreciate all your help. From weeding the farm and planting pineapples, to planting plantains and bananas, and mulching the fruit trees at our farm. You also assisted us with habitat restoration in our wetland and repaired bird and bat mist nets. Lastly, you helped process tropical fruits, juice sugar cane, and grate coconuts — you really did it all!

We’re grateful for your support and can’t wait to welcome you back soon! 😊

We’re hiring a Wildlife Technician starting June 15, 2025, through August 31, 2025. Enjoy a paid internship ($30/hr, 32 hrs/week) working on impactful conservation projects in BC and Belize!

About Us: Ecorana designs and leads conservation initiatives in Canada and Belize, focusing on habitat and species protection, environmental education, and ecological research. We partner with local organizations, universities, and communities to advance conservation efforts worldwide.

Your Role:
🔹 Conduct wildlife surveys and monitoring for species of concern in BC and Belize
🔹 Assist with data management, analysis, and report writing using R
🔹 Support fundraising and grant-writing activities
🔹 Contribute to scientific publications and outreach

Ideal candidates:
🎓 Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program with a biology background
💪 Physically fit and experienced in fieldwork
🖥 Skilled in data analysis, report writing, and social media
🚗 Valid driver’s license & vehicle
